Students are expected to respect and obey all school rules. Students are expected to respect the property of others and the school. If a student's actions damage or destroy books, materials or property, he/she will be expected to replace or compensate for that property. Tardiness, unexcused absences, excessive detentions, plagiarism, lying, cheating, dress code violations, disruptive behavior, damage to school property, failure to follow school rules, profanity, disrespect, fighting, threats, abuse, theft or any other form of misconduct will result in consequences ranging from an informal conference to expulsion based on offense, attitude, severity and prior history. Cell phones, pagers, CD players, IPODs, MP3 players, headphones and Gameboys are to be left at home. In using the computer, students are expected to be respectful of property and be responsible for their actions and conduct on the internet. Students will access only those sites pertaining to teacher instruction. No chewing gum is allowed.
